On January 22, 2016 we enjoyed the opportunity to tell our story and how Twisted Cedar is helping grow the Native American wine category on the Native America Calling radio show. Along with host Tera Gatewood, Potawatomi Chef Loretta Barrett Oden and Marshall McKay, Chairman Emeritus of the Yocha Dehe-Wintun Nation, we discuss how wine fits into the culture and economy of Native America.
Coming for the month of February, Twisted Cedar 2015 Lodi, Sangiovese Rose’ is vibrant pink in color with aromatics of fresh strawberries and cream, joined by flavors of fresh blood oranges. Crisp acidity and a smooth, dry finish make this Rose’ perfect to sip on its own or enjoy with a light meal. This is a great paring with spicy dishes.
As with all Twisted Cedar wines, Sangiovese Rose’ is certified sustainable through the Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing.
This will make for a perfect gift for your Valentine!
